That’s kind of a play on words, I guess. I live in Texas, sort of “deep” in the heart of it. This blog is for posting thoughts on the world in which I live. So let me introduce what you will see here. I’ve already told you I live in Texas, but I’m actually from Arizona, and I do get homesick every now and then. So, what are the big parts of my world? Well, I’ve spent virtually all of my life as a minister of the Baptist persuasion. Being a Christian is who I am, though I don’t think of myself as a traditional “Baptist,” but I have spent virtually all of my career life as a “second chair” minister, and a teacher and administrator in Christian day schools.
I’ll blog about the things that are “deep in my heart.” My faith. I spend a lot of time reading and studying the Bible. I’ll blog about issues related to the church, to Christian education, to be creative, to get things off my chest, to have fun and to see who else comes along.
